Sometimes the bad guys are funny, credit where credit's due

Take a look at the following article by Fr. Thomas Reese, who I had an impression of as a bad actor in the Church (an impression confirmed by a quick wiki of his views):

Why I hate the old latin mass: a confession

A couple thoughts on the article:

- first, it's a little funny, I laughed at the end so credit where it's due
- interestingly, he confuses conservatives for traditionalists
- I agree with the greater variety of readings, and can definitely see the wise and foolish virgins getting repetitive. Then again... look at our culture...
- As someone who was raised Methodists and appreciates the ordinariate and traditional English, while I actually like the vernacular and think that was a good reform (one of the few reforms actually called for by the Council that was implemented), we should have Sacred English, and from what I've heard the 1998 translation was not that. It's not about Ratzinger being German, it's about theological liberals trying to casualize and liberalize the liturgy

All that said, this is a good opportunity to remind/inform people of some of Fr. Reese's heinous views - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_J._Reese

- Is against Humanae Vitae, the Church's perennial teaching against contraception. A teaching more and more vindicated each year, that Fr. Reese still dissents from
- Thinks climate change is the number 1 pro-life issue. Lol
- This is what he thinks should be done with the Latin mass - "The church needs to be clear that it wants the unreformed liturgy to disappear and will only allow it out of pastoral kindness to older people who do not understand the need for change,"
and
"Children and young people should not be allowed to attend such Masses."

Look I so old to older eyes Fr. Reese? Can you please explain it to me, sorry I'm just too old to understand, and a lot of my even younger friends also appear to be too old to understand, can you explain it to them too?
